That's the one I'm REALLY hoping he's allowed home tomorrow - the rest of his group really hates me atm, and Snoozy and Sneaky have been fighting over who will fill the void

How's he doing? Is he home?

Yes, I went to collect the little monster this afternoon. He's very perky, has had everyone running around attending to his every whim, and was very demanding when it came to getting back with the other boys. I'll grab a shot of the wound tomorrow morning before I put the cream on it!

This is Sausage's wound now. It's fantastic, just a small scab. There's also still some swelling, but everything is back in place, and he doesn't drag anything along the floor now And, just for Bexi87(sorry about the bomb from Snoozy)

Weighed the clan tonight, and it appears Sausage has lost 30g through his "ordeal", so he's fattening up!

I'm sure he won't object too much, lol.
Glad he's feeling better, that was a nasty wound.

I found Sausage doing his strange squeaky bark on Thursday afternoon, which is the first since his experience, so I think he's fully recovered. Now, if I could just get him off the cc demands........he runs around on my cushion until he sees the bowl in my hand, so I can't sit down!

That's AWESOME, Bouncy!!
It must be rather terrifying to try and sit down? They move so quickly, I'd always be a little nervous he's run back onto the cushion in the last second.

He's done it again! Very red and swollen. I can only hope I can get him in for an appointment tomorrow morning! I did manage to burrito him and drop a load of metacam into him

Sausage! What are we going to do with you? Haven't you learned to put it away when you've finished with it?

Maybe he needs a new "retractor" spring put in.

It looks worse this time. There's no open wound, but it's so inflamed!

Let us know how he gets on. Fingers crossed he will be ok.

Just spoke to the vet, who admitted him this morning. He's extremely inflamed, and it almost looks like he's turned the cone inside out. I've asked the vet to clean and treat first but, if that doesn't work, he may not be able to urinate properly. She also said amputation may be necessary! I guess I'll hear more on Monday
