Hello! Yes, it was me, I researched it and apparently in the wild they do eat a very small amount of insects, but I'd ration them and treat a couple of mealworms like a small peanut. They're high in protein and fat, so good for a pregnant/poorly/underweight goo, but too much protein is bad for the liver, so I'd say either a couple of mealworms OR a peanut once a week would be fine, I'm sure most goos (and owners) would prefer peanuts, the main reason for me feeding her mealworms was because she was sharing a cage with Ernie, and he would've gotten jealous over the peanuts, but hated the mealworms, whereas Edna loved them!

I only ask because he really seemed to enjoy it. It was a live mealworm though.. Not a dried. I wont feed it again if you guys are unsure. How often can i give him oats though? And for your question about rocket, no i have not taken him home yet but i do spoil him when i take care of him at work. Im still hesitant about it all because idk if moose got sick from him? And plus i still have not built a cage for moose. I was gonna start but he got sick so i figured i should wait it out. Thats another question i wanted to ask too. Whats the smallest cage i can build for them temporarily? I do still live at home and i cant build them a big cage like i wanted to. I know they need lots of space to run and climb. But i just cant do it until i get my own place(which i hope will be soon).. So how small can their cage be? Like i said itd be temporary.

live or dried is ok mealworm wise, but I must admit oats are much better, they don't add much to the diet, so can be fed pretty freely (as long as you don't feed them so many they leave their feed or hay).
I wouldn't have thought that it was rocket that directly made moose sick, it could have been a treat he ate, a bug he caught on the way or anything really, and since they get on so well, maybe putting them together may be a good idea.
I might get shot down in flames here, but as a temporary cage, you can sometimes get really cheap thickets house cages off ebay that are fine if they have a lot of out of cage time and attention, but a cage that is 100cm length x 100cm height x 50cm width is widely considered the minimum for a pair of degus, so if your handy skills could stretch to maybe fitting two thickets house cages together and you had the room, that would be ideal.

Soooo.. I bought a new tank for my turtles.. And now moose has their 20 gallon tank and he is oh so hapPy. Now i know they sell cage attachments to go on top of tanks. I was thinking of getting that for him so he can climb and such. Now will that be suitable FOR NOW to put both moose and rocket in there? I want to get them the best cage possible but like ive said before i live at home and cant build a huge cAge right now. Moose has been nibbling my fingers lately and i think its because he doesnt get enough time out because i work so much and i know hed love his friend with him.
Also what do you guys think about introducing them again? Do you think moose is healthy enough now? I can post a video of him later or pics so u can see how he was before and how he looks now.
