I'm glad to hear he is filling out and settling in and happy to take treats nicely. I don't really know what a foot fully recovered from bumblefoot would look like or how much difficulty it might cause. I think with lots of your good nutrition and care there is a likelihood his whole body is going to feel better for him.

His fur is definitely looking better, it was quite dull when he first arrived, but I'm not sure if he'd had access to a sand bath.

He must be just LOVING the change in his life!! He is CLEARLY thrilled with the food and the space and the sand bath! I think he is going to fall HEAD OVER HEELS in love with you and with Sphene! I think you are going to have a very different experience with your goos than you have had. I think they are going to shower you with affection.

AWESOME!!! No more large hump on his back, and not more deep hollow in his flank! He has definitely been making up for lost time. You must be so pleased! I'm certainly thrilled for him and for you!

Hopefully tomorrow we will be expanding our little clan. I will be picking up 3 little female pups in the hope of introducing them to Sphene.
Wish me luck!

OH!! That is VERY exciting, Savvy!! Do you have to go very far? How old are they? I REALLY hope they fall COMPLETELY in love with each other, and make the happiest, healthiest, colony of four you've ever had!

Well they're here! Still no names yet, but they're 10 weeks old.
Initial introduction went ok, but one of the new girls was a bit persistent for Sphene's liking or tolerance levels so they're still separate. I think the persistent one may be on heat and Clint is also interested, his barks can be heard throughout the flat, lol. At the moment they're in the lower half of Sphene's cage, and I've ordered a new cage which should be here Tuesday, and I'm going to do daily intros to see how things go. Even if I get them into a group quickly, I'm going to need a spare cage for Clints intros when I can find him a friend, but Sphene is very taken with the other two.
One of them is an agouti, one is pied with a stripe up her face (Mrs Persistent) and one is predominantly white and very nervous. So name suggestions welcome.

They're beautiful Savvy! And wonderful that Sphene already like two of them!

I'm going to try to pair her with the nervous one tomorrow, see if she can raise her confidence levels a little.

I think the predominantly white one is going to be called Nerys as in Nervous Nerys from Only Fools and Horses. I've just had to put an extra snugglesafe down the bottom for her as she's too scared to sleep on the other one which is in full view.

OK they all have names now.
Nervous Nerys (predominately white) Freya (pied) Willow (agouti)
I'm going to hold off on intros for a few days as they have a new cage arriving on Tuesday and I need Nervous Nerys to settle in a little more. I tried a one to one with her and Sphene and Sphene wee'd on her, lol, but she is such a Nervous Nerys.

Oh and I managed to weigh Clint, he's now a healthier 287g so he's gained 20g in a week.

The little girls are beautiful and I love their names! Though ... I do hope that Nerys will completely change the association of her name, and it will be something very sweet and bright.
YAY CLINT!! He is a very happy boy!!

New cage arrived (RC03) and its going back tomorrow; trays don't fit properly, supports for half levels don't fit in the holes, dents everywhere, very flimsy trays. So I've ordered a new aventura cage instead.
With the one that's going back, I could probably start a stopwatch to time how long it would take the Blyth Babes to push a tray out of the way and escape! The trays are only held in place by two strips of metal along the sides, nothing underneath them, and only a small fob to hold them at the front, they don't even drop into place, just slide. Whoever designed it, doesn't know rodents very well.

OUCH!! That is deeply disappointing! At least with the Aventura you know what you are getting and know you can trust it.
