Quick update: her weight has gone from 166g on Monday after the dental to 187g tonight.
Flight or fight responses are still pretty good, she takes to flight when I want to catch her and fights me all the way when I do, lol.
She's still tucking into the green and orange slop, but also eating harder food too.

Hyped up on green and orange slop with white bits, I've now added porridge oats, she now on heat! She's spent the last hour running between the two wheels, racing for ten minutes on each. She's going to be wanting some more green slop soon, lol!

At least she seems to be being well fueled with the green and orange slop. Can't say it sounds appetizing from a human point of view. LOL!

I've started slightly reducing the amount of green and orange slop at each mealtime as I'm trying to encourage her to each more hard forage. She's still getting the slop 3 times a day, but its a fine line between her filling up on slop and her chewing enough for her teeth.

That sounds like a good idea, Savvy! It is so important to have her actively chewing. How often are you weighing her? I imagine you are watching that fairly closely.

I'm trying to weigh her a couple of times a week, but she has a habit of hiding behind the wheel where I can't catch her.
It's getting harder to tell the difference between Little Amber and Sphene again.
Sphene is now 212g, Little Amber will be weighed again tomorrow unless I can catch her tonight.

Just caught Little Amber for a weigh in and she's an impressive 202g! She's also not drooling so much.

Little Amber didn't want her late night green and orange slop tonight, but she did have a good feed earlier which was the one with her meds in.
I'll catch and contain tomorrow to check her weight etc. but she's eating poo, taking part in grooming sessions, rolling in the sand bath, and giving herself a pedicure, etc. I'm hoping that she's now just eaten enough to naturally want to cut back a bit.

Had her breakfast and evening slop (containing meds) with no problems. She's been running on her wheel all day!

Quick update: still struggling to catch and contain Little Amber to weigh her, but she's still eating her slop twice a day before eating her forage. She only gets a midnight feast if she's up and about and with the darker nights, all three remain firmly huddled in their nest. Got to weigh Sphene though and she topped the scales at 220g.

Just given her her midnight snack of slop and sunflower seeds, and I managed to grab her for a weigh in, she's now 210g and looking more pear shaped. I'll try to grab a screen shot of the video I just took, but my technology skills aren't that great.

Gave Little Amber her morning slop today and she refused it, I noticed her sitting on the saucer, which was still warm from being washed but not really eating. Then I realised the problem, I'd not mixed enough peanut butter into it.
She's not stupid is she, warming her feet while demanding tastier food, lol.

Wow, it must be some kind of Heston Blumenthal scientific accurate recipe or maybe she has Heston's tastebuds!
