I've never used it, what's it like? I don't think it comes in sizes that would work out economical for me, but I always like to hear about stuff I haven't tried yet

It’s lovely I used it for hazel when her eye was weeping but thinking of using it all the time. It still look clean even after a week of in the cage.

Have you got any pictures of the bedding DL? I'm just wondering if there's something similar that you can get in bulk for the sake of cost as that's quite high! I'm actually really loving finacard right now, don't think it'll go as far as my bales of shavings but the odour from their usual pee spot is down! Plus the pieces only get kicked out the cage when the doors are open which is a real bonus!

It’s paper bedding. The vet recommended it.

Would you do an experiment for me? I'm just wondering how much it would plump up if a chunk were put into water. I'm also wondering what the consistency would be after it has been in the water. Will it be gel like, look sort of dissolved, or will it still be kind of firm? ,

We had this bedding bought for us as a gift from a lady who owned rabbits who swore by it when we first got degus. Unfortunately Bella and Harmione wouldn't stop eating it! I only had it in about three days before I had to remove it all and go back to shavings.

My girls eat carefresh from time to time, but that's a different thing... I also would like to know what the pellets do in liquid.

I use Fitch and aubiose together, I really like the Fitch, you get a massive bale for about £20

Sorry for highjacking thus thread. Do any of you lovely people have any recommendations for shredded paper that my boys can make a nest out of? Basil still gets this sticky eye on and off. I switched to aubious and it's better but not gone. Nest changing time soon so want to try switching from hay nest to shredded paper nest.
Can they have newspapers ripped up or should it be dust extracted of done sort. Any suggestions appreciated
