Apart from the sunken area where his balls were, he looks quite healthy! With normal scales, the secret is to do something to keep him still

Thanks! He seems happy to me, always bouncing around, getting into trouble lol.
I bought all three of them a bath house each, as before they were all sharing that huge metal tub you get from p@h when you buy a thicketts. I was only getting it between them once a week. So now they have their own sand with permanent access, when I clean the sand out once a week (sieve it) I'll swap the sand to different goos so they smell like each other etc etc. They've all been super interested in the sand, they've all had about 20 baths each in about an hour and a half lol!

Hahaha!
Mine all have one glass goldfish bowl between them. Every time they come out for a run, they bathe throughout (except Scaredy, who just likes to sniff). Can lead to embarrassing clumps on the fur if one of the others in the group is feeling particularly randy!

Have you thought about placing an ad on freecycle for the scales? All it will cost is the cost of collecting them.
Just a thought.

He looks good to me Ordinary kitchen scales should have 1/4 oz lines on, don't they? which would be around 6g, so should be accurate enough to be useful if you read them carefully.
