Cheeky little goof!! LOL! Sounds like the day I and one of my previous dogs walked into a veterinary clinic, on a bright shiny summer day. The sun was shining through the large windows into much of the room, but the first 4-5 feet of the floor, black carpet, was in deep shade. The contrast between the brightness and the shade was so strong that we completely missed an important component in the room we had just entered. Like most dogs, Grizzy was a couple steps ahead of me, when suddenly out of the black carpet a black cat with golden eyes arose and soundly boxed Grizzy's muzzle for a solid and furious 30 seconds. Grizzy sat on his haunches in shock, I had just begun to put together what that soft and rapid biff, biff, biff sound was, when the cat turned tail and screamed in protest from the room. Grizz (a very proud, and full of himself male when it came to other dogs and cats, most loving and silly goof with people) still sat in frozen shock, this look of utter awe and disbelief on his face, while I replayed in my mind what my eyes had seen but my mind failed to comprehend. Then I laughed!! The cat had used soft paws, no claws, so no damage was dished out, just shock and chagrin on Grizzy's part, and vast humour on mine. I still laugh to this day when I think of it! My laughter brought Grizzy out of his cat induced stupor, and we continued with our check-in. One of my FAV memories.

Hahahahaha! Be careful letting them scope out the drop to the floor......... Spidergoo found out it isn't that far down. Now, he jumps straight down every time I open the door, even if he sees me putting the ramp in. If he wants down, no one can stop him!!

Have had a horrible couple of days, degus are all fine thankfully but Emrys my drawf lop bunny has come down with stasis thankfully I think I noticed it straight away, 2 hour bus journey to the vets, brought him home with me in the evening so I could keep an eye on him and took him back this morning as they think he may need X-rays etc to see if he is blocked or not. I'm so worried but at least I know he's in the best place
