Okay! I'd taken the beetroot out and put it in my treats container. Picked out what few berries I saw but I didn't get them all. It looks so yummy!
Gonna feed the old stuff tonight and when bouncy comes tomorrow I'll feed them all lovely new stuff in their new homes!
I bought that mix, I bought bay leaves (special rare occasion tiny bit treats), basil, degu seed mix, herb garden blossom mix which looks SO good, rose petals, plantain and raspberry leaves!
I didn't have enough containers so I had to empty out some sweet containers like Quality Street tubs and fill those up lol!

Those flower petals are gorgeous!! You could see some of those tucked in their fur, just to dress things up a bit. |

So Tibbs clears his plate of the Hansemanns mixes. No surprise there though the little fatty!! He's just non stop eating!!! I'm glad he's eating, but jeez.. look at him..  His tail looks like a piece of string in comparison to his body 😂  |

Garf has been picking slowly at the mixes. That little PAH boy just loves his pellets.
They both love dried beetroot, pepper, broccoli and spinach though, and both seem to prefer the Hansemanns seed mix to the ratration one.

Tibbs is probably amazed at how great food can taste, I'm really pleased he is enjoying if and stuffing his face, with him having some dental issues it can only be a good thing that he is putting on weight.
I have noticed that my degus prefer human grade seeds to animal grade ones from Ratrations or Hansemanns, so if anyone is having issues getting their degus to accept the seed mixes, it might be worth trying making up your own mix and sourcing from somewhere like Natco.

Seriously though they both really love the Hansemans seeds! Garf did not touch the ratrations, and I went to pick up the bag today and there a gaping hole in the side where Garf has been helping himself to a seed buffet 😂

Noticed a couple of new forage mixes on Zooplus. Hansepet Flower Mix (which looks similar to what you can get at Ratrations), 4 x 100g bags of different plant mixes £6. Also JR Farm Forest and Meadow Secrets Pack (which looks similar to some of the individual bags in PAH) 3 mixes, total of 350g for £6. Both look good for adding variety to the Garden Herbs, Ribwort & dandelion which are all good value staples.

I didn't know where to post this but today I had a delivery from ratrations, delivery takes so long I always forget what I've ordered by the time it comes. The bloke passed me a fairly small parcel which nearly hit the floor as I didn't realise how heavy it was gonna be. I forgot I ordered 5KG of seeds rather than 1KG you know, for the poops and giggles. It's huge!!!  That's what £85 buys you lol! I bought 2x Plantain by Hugro 80g each Degu Exquisite by Hugro 500g Parsley Stalks 150g Blackcurrant & Dandelion Leaf Mix Nettle and Birch Leaf Mix Sunchoke Herb Chives Peanuts Lemon Balm Chickweed 5KG seed lol! |

I make my own mixes out of the individual stuff and this morning there was nothing left except hay and a few Science Selective nuggets!
