At Mocni . . . please post pics of the bits before you decide to send one to the new home.
And . . . just for your consideration . . . we humans are not so good at correctly IDing the troublemaker in a group, or the reasons for the fighting. Insufficient cage size is a MASSIVE reason that is often not seen or understood, as is age, and the chaos that ensues when they're in a new home, or new cage, or a cage mate has died and the hierarchy is now changed. Those are only some of the reasons we are aware of, because we don't know enough about these animals . . . and we don't speak goo. It is entirely possible that sending away one will make things bad between the remaining ones because we usually don't what position that degu held in the grouping, nor do we know if it was the glue in the group, or the peacemaker, or maybe even the dominant one that was defending it's place in their small colony.

@ Mistyanna . . . nope!! Too much space between the urinary cone and the anus.

Yep, definitely a boy. Very distinctive gap between the cone and anus.

There is another very good way to confirm if they're males, at some point, they will self clean, lol.
I'd say male. But you need to check they are both males.
A certain pet shop has a degree of difficulty telling the sexes apart.

I've checked. Skitter is the one in the picture. Skatter is also definitely a male

I would say the first picture is definitely male. Can you get a better shot of the second one--with the bar in the way there, it's harder to tell for sure.

First one I’d say is definitely Male.
Second one I feel is a female but I’d need a better picture to feel fully confident!

Yep, definitely #1 male! I'm tempted to say female for #2, but it’s not clear. At least that's in line with what you were told!

Hi all, A couple of weeks ago I "adopted" two 14-weeks old Degu's from our local pet store. Both of them were sexed as males and even though they are completely different characters, I never doubted their sex. However, "Mr Grey" has been mounting "Mr Brown" three times in the last week (maybe more without me noticing) with Mr Grey squeaking for a couple minutes afterwards. I know Mr Grey is a male because I've seen him cleaning his parts (which was quite disturbing to be honest haha). However, I have never seen Mr Brown do the same thing. Mr Brown mostly is behaving the most aggressive when it becomes to food, but also chases Mr Grey around a lot and grooming Mr Grey a lot. With the mounting I'm therefore a bit afraid that Mr Brown is a female. I really enjoy having them around but to have baby-degu's... That's a whole different story tbh. Could anyone please help me identifying the sex of Mr Brown? I've tried to take pics from both of them. Mr BrownMr GreyThanks for your help! TK

Welcome to the forum.
From the pictures I would say they are both male. It's not unusual for degus to mount and chase each other around the cage, in fact its part of the way in which they establish their hierarchy and their place in the pack.
At this time of year we are also coming into breeding season so I'd expect to see a bit of an increase in this type of activity.
If you have any questions please feel free to ask, there are no silly questions when it comes to degus.
