Darn, who has room in their freezer for tiles and bricks? Definitely not I lol!!
I might put some ice cubes in a tub (high enough rim so they wont tip it) and see what they do, that way the water wont get everywhere.

Looks good, says non toxic. Just double wrap them in a towel and then put some oats on top of them and they'll soon figure out that's the cool place to be π

When we bought our house, the previous owners had been here for 8 years, and done no maintenance. It had been on the market for months, and they hadn't cleaned anything or even wiped the old food out of the drawers in the kitchen.
But, they had installed central a/c, so all was forgiven. Best thing ever!!!

Might work. If there is loose fabric, they might be tempted to chew it, so keep an eye on it.
Something else you could use to cover them would be clean, old socks. Put two or three layers on. Okay if the socks have holes, just trim any loose threads.
Just remember, these socks may get peed and poo'd on, or chewed, so don't use any you'll want to put back on your feet.
Also--old mitten, old knit hat, cut off an arm or a leg from an old sweatshirt or sweatpants....stuff like that.

Cool finds random! Gonna get a couple of those pods. Do they fit in the snuggle safe covers nicely?

Yeah think so G&T. My lot usually lie near them rather than on them at first as they're frosty cold at first. I usually put them in the freezer overnight so they're ready by 10-11ish when it starts getting stupid warm.

Am I the only one who's degus have been actively sunbathing today rather than feeling the heat? π then again I walked in the house and it was nice and cool compared to the outside, only a toasty 21 degrees.

Mine were up and running around, still going by 4pm. They looked at their frozen tiles in disgust.
