we got a degu 2 days ago and he came with food and a cage and some accesories he was being fed xtra vital chinchilla food but we read they should have pellets so we bought some "science selective, chinchilla plantain and parsley" it has
*High fibre 19%
*NO added sugar
*Highly palatable
*No artificial colourants
*contains linseed, a great source of omega 3 and 6 promoting healthy skin and coat
*Promotes dental wear
*Prevents selective eating
and a few other stuff
tell me what ya think?

As long as "Chinchilla plantain" is not in the bananna family that would be ok. Have to check out this Chinchilla plantain.

Yes I see the plantain is herbal. I imagine much like the plantain out in my pastures. That should be fine.
