Hello, are there magazines about small mammals or pets in our countries? Here in Germany/Switzerland there is only one serious magazine, called "Rodentia". In contrast to reptiles the choice is low and the quality as well is inferior. In addition there are several small ones hard to obtain (e.g. club magazines). www.ms-verlag.de/Zeitschrift_RODENTIA.31.0.html

Hmm, not really any for rodents in the UK. We have lots of horse magazines, and cats, dogs, and wildlife.

I would have thought the fancy rat society would have some sort of magazine. Not sure though.

I'm sure they would have amie, plus I'm sure there's plenty club magazines with a small circulation. I was thinking more about the ones you can buy off the shelf at a newagent.

it's a shame there aren't any magazines about small pets. There should be considering the amount of niche magazines in whsmith.

Bit late to reply to this. I haven't been about for a long while. I childmind some kids with guinea pigs and they get a magazine called Small Furry Pets. And inside were articles about keeping rats AND degus. Which made me very happy! They are aimed at a general audience but have some interesting articles about housing, behaviour and diet which could be interesting. Here is the website if you want to have a peek. www.smallfurrypets.co.uk/
