I have found it hard to find toys here (in the US), but just found this site, and although it is a 'bunny' site, I believe most of these toys would be suitable for a degu (if anyone finds something they do not think if degu friendly, please point it out). Just thought I would share.....I don't know if they ship other places. www.petrabbittoys.com/

Anything with pine could be an issue if there is nothing to indicate if the pine used has been kiln dried. The resin in pine woods is toxic to degus, so should be avoided IF it has NOT been kiln dried, a process which removes the resin from the wood.

Oh, didn't even think about that. See, that is why I posted. So unless it is labeled for degus, one should not use it? It is hard in the US to find toys for them.

The pine tends to be kiln dried I believe as it'll be cheaper wood and easier to work with as toys. However... don't take my word for it. Why don't you contact the sellers and ask them about the pine.
