Following his neutering this morning you would never know anything had happened to him! He is thoroughly enjoying being spoiled and is sprawled out on the snugglesafe pad like he's sunbathing . The wound is very neat, he's leaving it well alone and will start on a course of baytril for 7 days to prevent infection. In a few weeks he will be able to move back in with his sisters which I think will please him as I believe he's missing them. I'm not sure he's going to be happy on his own for a while while he heals but needs must.

Aww good boy Norman! Glad to hear he's doing ok. He'll be sore for a bit, I picked Dougal up after he'd been done and he was still recovering up to last week but now he's well away. Dont they look funny with baldly bellies?! Bless em.

He does look odd, apparently there are two ways they can go in - from the bottom up or belly down, the vet I used prefers the bottom up route, though his belly is a little bit red and bruised he seems perfectly happy in himself and took his baytril without too much fuss this morning.

I'm amazed how quickly the bruising is going down. He's looking much better today and is still leaving it well alone. He's not keen on the baytril but I'm managing to get it in to him.
