Hello! I am after a bit of advice as me and my girlfriend want to increase the happiness of our 4 Degu’s. In particular I am after ideas from the forum as to what toys/accessories you use in your Degu cages that are very popular with your little ones? Also a link to where to get it from would help..maybe a picture if you made it. Thank you all

Hi there! I've just made mine a few 1.5m tunnels out of fabric and used strong wire to keep them open (a bit like the tunnels kids have but smaller) and they seem to love running in them. They're pretty easy to make especially if you have some old fabric lying around. You could probably make a shorter one for the cage? Totoro loves tissue so when I clean their cage out I normally hang a whole/half roll from the ceiling of their cage which keeps him busy, at least for 10 mins They also have a digging box during the day which attaches to their cage, although they prefer to 'dig' at the sides . They love toilet roll tubes, you can stuff a few with hay/treats etc. And twigs, lots and lots of twigs ;D Mo Mo doesn't really do anything other than run on his wheel and eat, so I scatter some food in the hay every now and then so he can forage. Hope some of that helps!

Shredded tissues into a egg box keep them ocupied, tubes. Mine love those daisy chains from P@H. I sometimes put oats insude a sheet of cardboard and roll it up and wedge it in the cage .

Anything my two can destroy really o.o Or make a noise with!
They also love tubes out of the cage, their wheel, had a little interest in a golf ball once, stuffed pringles tubes / eggboxes / cardboard tubes etc, and those wicker balls stuffed with food and treats also goes down well! My two also seem to like shredding material and towels.....
You'll be surprised at what entertains the little monsters!
