Hi, That sort of cage would be brilliant a lot of our members have wooden cages. However that one is not wide enough. The recommended width for a pair of degu is at least 100cm.
Are you looking for a wooden cage in particular or any suitable cage in your area?

I would buy it! make sure its degu proof though, ask the seller if there are any areas for your degus to chew through. As Kat said it is still a bit small for them to be able to run around, could you maybe fix another cage onto it? give them some more running room..
You are very luck to find a cage like that, i looked for so long to find an already made degu cage for sale but had to build my own in the end.

I'm mainly looking for a cage around the Durham area. I'm actually getting a pair of degus from another member on here tomorrow (so excited!) and they are currently in a P@H thickets cage. I'm hoping to get something bigger soon, but don't have massive amounts of money to spend on it.

I wonder if you could turn is on its side and attach the P@H cage to the then top?
If the doors are square then they would easily turn.

unfortunatly jessie you live very far away from me (wiltshire). I would be more than happy to offer a free wooden degu cage. If anyone you know in the area could collect it for you I would be happy to flat pack it. It will be dissasembled in the next few days and thrown away, so let me know.
