ive just woken up to find my oldest Eric sitting on his own with blood in and around his mouth, I've checked the others and theres no signs injuries or signs of fighting, ive given him a pumpkin seed and he seemed to eat it ok. If tried to clean him up as much as possible with a wet cotton bud and have tried to encourage him to drink. he doesnt seem very active but this is the time of day that they would usually snooze anyways. is there anything else I should be doing till I can take him to the vets tomorrow morning. any advice would be greatly appreciated

I think for today you can only monitor him very closely. If he eats, drinks and behaves normally, it doesn't seem to be an emergency. Can you see where the blood may have come from?

it seems to be coming from his mouth, I'm trying to work out if hes broken a tooth but its very difficult to check him, ive tried to encourage him to eat something a bit more solid but he doesnt seem interested, unfortunatly i have to go to work in an hour but ill come back and check on him on my lunch break

Can you leave him with something that is easier to eat in case it is a tooth problem? For example grind and soak some of his hard feed. The more normal you can keep his food intake the better.

i just gave him a dried pea and he ate it, i got him to stand up on his back legs so i could get a look at his teeth and they all look straight,
