Can you tell if it is the same one all the time that is making that call? Do they all make it? Have you been watching them during any time when the call started?

There are 2 that make the call.
Never been watching when it starts but if I put a handful of oats in my palm and then into the cage it tends to shorten the call.
At first I thought it might be one of the dogs spooking them, but then I started paying a little more attention and the dogs arent always near them.

Well . . . I'll honestly tell you that it sounds like the mating bark that degu emit after a successful mating. Now, this can happen following an intensive self-cleaning that males also indulge in, so hearing it doesn't always indicate that a mating has occured.
I know that you have been quite uncertain as to the sexes of your degus, and the photos you posted were rather blurry and not much help could be obtained from the rest of us as a result. BUT . . . this does make me think even more that you must have two males and two females. If this is indeed the case, it will explain why there is so much conflict in your efforts to introduce them all together. The two males will fight intensely over the two females, and the distruption they make can cause all four of them to be upset and uneasy. At this point, I really think it is vital that we determine the gender of all four degus. Knowing for sure will help us to advise you on how you need to continue in the future, and may well ease some of the angst you have been suffering as a result of your many efforts to make them a happy foursome.

I will do my best for some better pics I have figured out that they will sit with me fine if they get into a box to be removed from the cage. Save us all a lil stress too.
I will get them posted as soon as I can get a hold of them and get my not so happy to help hubby, to help
Funniest part is when I play it back the same goo stands on his hind leg and smells it is sorta cute lol

I'd say:
Female Male Male
and the last one is hard to tell because of the fluff but the other guys might be able to see.
I'd defiantly say you have some boys and girls there! x

I also am inclined to think that you have, in order of appearance, female, male, male, and female. So Eva, SAM, HARRY (losing the iette ), and Juliette. This would explain the difficulty in getting them all together, the boys don't want to share the girls, and you have probably been hearing a successful mating bark, with means in 90 days . . . minus a couple or so . . . you will probably see pups.

They have done it before and no pups so I am hoping I wont see any.
I live an hour from any place that sells or knows anything about them and my cage is BIG but I dunno if it is THAT big ha ha.
So seems the origninal pairs have been mixed after careful looking and tons of hand feeding I mixed them up after the last fight.
So I don't know what to do. I know I need to separate them again but I dont know how the boys will act when reunited.
This only adds to the anxiety that my little goos have brought to my life and the funny thing is I look forward to every minute of it.
TY TY all with the help and the sexing it is much appreciated
