Hello All,
I'm in Kent, and am looking to get 2 Degu pups. I don't want to go via Petsmart, I would rather purchase from a breeder who can also offer advice as I have not had Degu's before (I've had rabbits, hamsters and a chinchilla). As I am new to Degu's, I would like to start with 2 babies, and then in future I would look to rescue once I have experience in caring for them.
If anyone has any advice on where to go, or can recommend any breeders, it would be much appreciated.
Also, are there differences between male and female pairs? Eg personalities, behaviour, temperament etc?
And could anyone recommend a good place to buy cages? I was looking at John Hopewell online but wonder if these were stocked in any stores?
Sorry for the long post, and thanks in advance for any help that can be offered!
Ellie

Thanks all for the responses, it seems I now can't get a cage for a few weeks (3-4 week wait list) so I think I will get that, and then start looking again - so if you still have your babies then, I will let you know!
