Hi everyone, So I decided I've had enough with my wire cage, the goos love chewing the metal bars and the j clips holding the doors and I just haven't been able to sleep despite all the wonderful advice I have been given from everyone. Plus I have problems with my chest and the poo flinging has been difficult to keep on top of! Soooo I've decided to join the craze of DIY cages and I'm really happy up to now! I was just wondering if PVC runners are any good or if they have to be metal to prevent chewing? I was also wondering where people bought them from (I'm hoping I don't have to order them off the internet because I really want to get it finished soon!) I've found Nightwishraven's website to be invaluable in helping with the build I'll update with pics soon ;D

Hey, goos are smart, don't underrate that My two chew on everything. And I mean everything. The only untouched thing is their plastic flying saucer. They sure know they need it and love it enough to leave it alone. Otherwise I have never seen a glass one.

Don't get me wrong I love that they are smart, I just don't love the sound of J clips rattling at 3am! Plus I think they will feel more secure in a DIY cage, and I will be able to use more bedding for them.
Sorry I didn't put my question across very well, I meant runners for glass not made out of glass (my bad).
