Soo I had to replace my wonderland wheel, which I thought was absolutely amazing wheel, apart from the fact that my girls chewed a hole in the actual rotating wheel. I thought it was great because it was really quiet and big enough for them. So I bought a flying saucer wheel, I've got the largest one and it has been in the cage now for about 4 days. The only problem is the girls are just ignoring it!
I've tried coaxing them onto it, I've put oats on it, I've even had it on my knee with them out of the cage! I'm thinking there never going to use it, which is a shame because it was expensive and its better for their backs! Wish they weren't so picky sometimes lol
Soo which wheel to try next? The silent spinner, the wodent wheel? Any recommendations?

Keep at it, my girls didn't use theirs for a while and then one day starting running on it! I'd leave it with them for a little while longer and let them explore in their own time

Once one starts using it, the others will learn from them. Keep with it, it just takes time

All 4 of mine love their flying saucers. They didn't use them straight away either, but did after a while so stick with it. Definitely give it a good few days-week!

It is comparable to young degus seeing the sandbath for the first time. Often the pups do not know how to "bathe" and learn from seeing an older degu go about his/her business.

Is it a metal or plastic saucer?
