This is primarily aimed at anyone with a DIY cage, what size mesh did you use when you built your cages? I'm just making some plans for my new cage, but I don't have a clue about what size mesh to use. I want to be able to communicate with my gang through the mesh so it can't be too small

Nothing over 5 cm square, or 5 cm spaces between the wires. Does that make sense?

5cm? That sounds a little big...just my opinion though.
I used 2cm square mesh.

2 inches = 5 cm. I think DC may have used the wrong unit here?

We bought 1/2 inch mesh for our DIY cage but I am learning it is a bit too small

Thanks everyone, I think 2.5cm would be ideal so I just need to find some now!
