Apology, I am very happy to see another tropical fish fanatic on here ;D Your setups are wonderful (love the thick bunches of Cryptocorynes and the driftwood arrangements).
Your setups look very south american and your tanks look perfect for Dwarf Cichlids. Have you ever kept (Ram Cichlids)Microgeophagus Ramirezi, (Kribensis) Pelvicachromis Pulcher or Keyhole Cichlids (Cleithracara Maronii) ?
I think either of these species would look lovely in your tanks.
Some of us have posted photos of our tropical fish tanks...I will have to see later on if I can find the topic.
Love your Clown Loaches by the way ;D

I used to have many tropical fish tanks. I now stick to just keeping Betta Splendens and they are much easier to keep! I miss my tanks though.

Yes, Microgeaphagus Ramirezi we´ve had in there sometimes. But unfortunately, life expectancy is not very long in this type of fish. But i love them because they are so beautiful and I´d liked it to watch their cute behavior Oh, I forgot 2 Guramis (Trichogaster trichopterus). I dont like these 2 fishes very much, because they were much larger than the rest of our fishy population. But a friend changed from a community tank to a perch tank. So, some fish came to us and our tank became a retirement home for them

So, some fish came to us and our tank became a retirement home for them About Microgeophagus Ramirezi... They usually do not live more than two years, but as you mentioned they are so beautiful....especially when the males and females do the "courtship dance" before spawning. I have bred them several times but had no success raising the fry. The eggs have a tendancy to fungus very easily and the fry are so small that they have trouble eating newly hatched artemia. Trichogaster Trichopterus do grow quite large. They eat a lot as well ;D Macropodus Opercularis is my favorite gourami. It is as beautiful as Betta Splendens, but far more hardy and suitable for community life. I watched your video and I am impressed. I have never seen Synodontis Cafish breeding. Mostly my experience has been with Cichlids, Gouramis and Killifish. I would like to see more photos of your aquariums and fish.
