The original message below is wrong now as it appears that the female degu we got from P@H was a male! So, we're now looking for a male or males in the NW area Last night, we lost one of our pair of degus to a really nasty fall from the top of the cage. We got her as a single degu through a Gumtree ad in April but managed to get her a younger female from Pets at Home as an adoption. Now that she has gone, the younger girl looks really out of sorts and lonely. We are hoping to find her a new friend or friends. Loving home available with plenty of attention given. Merseyside and surrounding areas

Thanks Nuttz. I was gutted last night as I was the one who decided to get her in the 1st place. This morning, the kids were really upset - not a great start to the summer holidays...

accidents happen unfortunately, i lost my chips due to a massive fight with his brother, i only wish i stopped them fighting but honestly believed they were playing my kids were the same, especially my youngest boy who totally blamed me for chips death, he is fine now though and loves the new baby girl, kids are quite amazing really, they soon get over things, unlike us who tend to take a much slower pace for mourning! as i said before, i hope you find your girl a little friend soon, im sure you will take care x
