Damon's eye had been quite watery and the fur beneath his eye was very wet. He also had a little bit of white 'gunk' in his eye. I decided to clean it with some cotton wool and warm water and see if that helped. I booked him in at the vets for a couple of days after, but was very reluctant to take him as Damon is a biter! He hates human contact and finds people very scary. He's always been this way and I've tried everything to change him. I won't go into detail about how cleaning his eye went, but as you can guess he wasn't very well behaved for me, but thankfully, I wasn't bitten.
His eye has cleared up completely after the first cleaning, so I cancelled the appointment at the vets. Any idea what it could have been? His eye looked really sore and wet, so I'm just wondering what it might have been really? Perhaps he had something in his eye?

That would be my suspicion alright. I'm so glad he is doing better!

Hey amie, Maybe it was sand from the bath? One of mine always seems to get a grain in there, usually I have to flick it off with soft tissue or cotton wool. Glad you escaped the vets and a bite! :-)

Me too! lol. If any of the others had to go to the vets I wouldn't have been nearly as scared for my fingers!
