Hiya! I'm Jewels. I'm new to the site but not new to Degus. I have 7 Degus, who are in groups so they don't live together!! I have owned Degus for roughly 4 years. They are all rescues. And at the end of the month I am going to be rescuing 3 more Degus. I can't work out how to put pictures up lol but I will someday. Nice to meet you all!! I thought I'd join to help share my experiences and get/give info!!

Crikey, that's a lot of degus! I can't believe there are so many degus that want rescuing though how can people bear to get rid of them? I'm new here too, looking forward to become a part of the lovely little community ^^

Hi, i too have only just registered and will soon be the proud owner of two males - Pepsi and Max who arrive on Sunday - to say i'm excited is an understatement. I'm primarily a rat breeder and heavily involved in the NFRS - this is going to be a very enjoyable learning curve

Welcome to the forum Jayne :-)
You'll find degus absolutely fascinating little creatures that keep you intrigued with their silly antics.
We had 3 rats before, well, they were my boyfriends technically, and I know they're lovely pets. Smelly though! Degus hardly smell compared to rats.
Anyhow, I'm digressing, so again welcome!
