The three adult males and three adult females are still looking. We do rehome to other areas so please do ask if you are outside our area. We have rehomed to England as long as homes can be checked and transport arranged.
Thanks, Clare

Wow, you've been looking for homes for these for a while...have you considered having them moved to another refuge where they may be more easily rehomed?

Yes, these degus have been here since last November. Four from the group of females were homed locally. Thankfully there has been some interest in a group - fingers crossed!

Yes the two groups are still here. Sadly two boys previously homed were returned yesterday, along with their 9 companions, including 4 possibly pregnant females So we are very keen to home the degus already posted here. I don't get notification of replies to this forum and don't get a chance to check it very often. So please get in touch via email if interested in these goos: rhydowenrodentrefuge@yahoo.com

Thank you. Thankfully the returned degus and their companions are in good health. The females were separated but apparently a male got in to their cage a couple of months ago

There are two groups of females. Spring, Summer and Autumn are thought to be sisters and are all approximately 2.5 years. The degus that came in last week consisted of 4 females that had a male escape in to their cage according to their previous home. As we don't know exactly when this was they are on pregnancy watch for the next few months. So won't be available for rehoming for some time yet. They are Mum who is approximately 14 months and 3 daughters who are around 7 months.

Thank you, we are interested in maybe adopting the 3 youngest females, we just have a couple of questions;-
-How much have they been handled, are they tame? -Were exactly in Wales are you situated? -have you found out whether your other Degus are pregnant or not???
Thanks Lee and Charlotte
