Lastnite after trying Coleen and Louise in the bath again (all went well until coleen managed to find a hole behind the toilet to explore but that's another story) I sat by both cages and each of them were up at the bars as if to say "what you giving me".
By this point they had had all thier treats i was willing to give them so i thought lets try giving them some paper bedding and low and behold as i put each piece through the bars they pulled them through, gathered them up and took them to thier respective nests and arranged them so last nite i was sat with the for half an hour building nests.
I have done this before with louise but i also leave a hay rack full of bedding attached to the side of the cages, coleen will happily take the bedding herself to make a nest but louise will only do so when I give her the bedding (she won't take it herself from the hay rack or the hay cube i tried).......silly little goo, silly but very cute and sweet. ;D

haha we did it when they were expecting their babies as the loo roll was softer than the straw - and it was hilarious - the run back and forth - its great when theres 2 goos in the same cage as they almost have head on collisions from the excitement!

LOL!!! That sounds like a lovely time, actually! Once we buy some more loo roll (running kinda low at the moment), I'll have to give it a try with our boys. All three of them are avid nest builders so it should be interesting. LOL!
