Hia everyone....
I have read lots of great advice about introducing degus when you may already have a few in the cage but i was wondering if there was anything we could do to make them feel relaxed and confortable when we first put a couple in our cage. we have everything set up and have followed the great advice on here with regards food and bedding etc... but i know how stressed little critters can get so wanted any advice on how to settle them in. we are going to pick ours up this week hopefully....
thanks!! ;D

The best thing is to let them settle in and leave them to get used to their new surroundings. Sounds easier than it is as the first thing you want to do is sit and watch them and start to play with them ;-p
Then when you start to interact with them do it in a way so not to stress them out. Don't speak to loudly. Avoid sudden movements if you can and don't sneak up on them......
You'll find in a week or so with some tactical treats they'll be far less stressed starting to get tamer
