WELL!!! I think that you will be best served if you can hunker down and decide it is just going to take time.
Are you sure about their ages? At 2 months old, they should still be fairly flexible in their attachments, and I would think it much easier for introducing. Same should still be applicable to the 4 months old . . . although somewhat less so. They all sound like they are older . . . maybe 5 months and 7 months. I say that because they sound as though they have already entered into the teen months where they are feeling their hormones, and fighting is a daily event. They also seem to be quite established in their roles of dominant and submissive.
What I would say is . . . keep trying, it can take quite a while for them to click, but once they do, they are well bonded. If they are the ages you have posted, it will likely take longer, as once they enter sexual maturity ( or the teens) they will fight with their best friend as though they are blood enemies. That will go on until there is mutual agreement on who is top goo and who is not. If you have slightly older goos, it will last a shorter time, but will still potentially be a couple months for you. Patience is the name of this game, and you have to hold on to it for dear life. It took my goos about 4-5 months to click, but they are now well bonded, and all is good! Be as tenacious as you know how to be and then more so.
