Has anyone introduced 2 male chins? If so were they neutered or did it not matter. Any other advice is welcome. Thanks

I guess you know how difficult introductions are in male chins... sorry I can't help you, but what I do know is that neutering will have an effect on territorial behaviour, but it will not have an effect if they just don't like each other.
Are they adults?

Perhaps its like degus and gerbils... the younger the better, I'd imagine introducing a 10week old would be better than an adult?
If your thinking about neutering as an option what about a female kit?

Our thoughts exactly. Our only concern is how dangerous would the operation be for neutering. We'd obviously like to avoid neutering but if its the only way forward?

Trouble is you won't know until you've tried your male chin with an adult male- adult male/ adult male - young male introduction about how he'd handle it and as its not something that you can just try perhaps the best way forward would be the easiest intro? From what I've read it is possible to do adult male - adult male intros but you'd have to be in a situation to have two cages if things didn't work out. I guess thats the same with any situation but I guess there is a higher risk of fights happening with adults.
With a female kit, he is the dominant one and there would be or should be no disputing that at a later stage. If you were to pair him with a male kit you don't know whether the kit has a dominant personality so fights could break out later on down the line... (sorry if I'm just irriterating things you already know)
Question your vet about neutering... how many successul ops they've done etc, before you decide on anything?
I'm sorry I can't be of much help, if you were asking about degu or gerbil intros I'd say go for the male option but I really don't know how chins handle it.
