Hi everyone,
it has recently been said that Xtravital is a good food for Degus, unfortunately it was not specified as to which Xtravital it was whether being chinchilla, small rodents, guineau pig, chipmonk etc. I have searched hi and low and could ot find a specific Degu Xtravital. So in the end i bought Chinchilla Xtravitala. I haven't yet given it to them, i figured i could mix a tiny bit in with their chinchilla pellets but pick out the raisins. Do you think there are any other ingredients i should pick out before giving it to them?
ingredients:- High value alfalfa, peas, alfalfa, high value soya, extruded wheat, raisins, maize, carrot flakes, oats and extruded alfalfa.
What do you think? or what do you feed yours?
