I found this on the Smithsonian National Zoo website in Washington, D.C. I thought it would be interesting to see what zooz feed their degus. Looks like this one feeds the natural habitat stuff: nationalzoo.si.edu/Animals/SmallMammals/fact-degu.cfmDiet Tubers, roots, bark, cacti. I wonder where I can get this stuff? I'll have to research it. I found this when I was looking for the email address of my local zoo's vet. I was thinking that may be a better bet than an exotic animal vet if they are willing to help. Hmmmmmmmmm but exactly what tubers, roots, bark and cacti. Their information is vague. Please let us know if you find any more detailed information.
Thanks

I sent them an email, and it was returned as bulk and unsolicited. I tried another route, so let's see what happens.
