I was thinking, that would I give mushrooms to my degus? Maybe dried? Most of them are low in carbohydrates. Have anyone tried?

I have tryed mine with mushrooms, for the same reasons, but they just turned their noses up at them!

They first three or four times I gave them rosebuds, they nibbled a bit, then abandoned them, but now they love them.

Hmm... I think degus would like dried mushrooms. I'm not sure, but I guess.

Mmm, on one hand they are made up of alot of water, but on the other hand they are classed as a fungus?
