These are the big white thick bean sprouts often seen in Chinese cooking. My kids love these things. I have been looking for the nutritional value of these. For every 1 cup (202 g) there's only 4.04 g of sugars. Is this too much? Would there be any other problems with feeding them? Here's the full nutritional value of them from www.healthrecipes.com/mung_beans.htmWay too much information for me to paste here ... go look

In England we call them Bean Sprouts, and yes, they are made up of about 80% water, and considorating the ratio between the sugar and water, i see no problem giving them as an occasional treat. Ive given them to my Degus when i cook a stir-fry, and they seem to like them!

if they're 80% water, wouldn't they get wet-tail from this? the same way rabbits get wet-tail from iceberg lettuce?
