That looks fab Aimee.
I also notice our cages are really similar. you have the leap n ledges, a semi circular log and sand bath the same as me!! How big is the cage though? In that pic it looks huge!!!

Ta Meg! it is two cages tied together becuase we need another another cage when we had the babies. This is what we bought before we put the other smaller cage on top.

No offencing your handy work, Aimee, cause it looks great, but doesn't structures that high become somewhat riscy? I would imagine it being a bit unsafe as much as my one degu rummages around...

I have the three tier terizani cage, and it had to be assembled. It came flat pack and is quite simply the two tier version and the one tier version stacked. So Aimee has just added another one tier! They should stack indefinately, so its degu heaven I think!

That can be fixed as well!! I know EXACTLY the problem you have, its not a pleasent degu trait! If you visit somewhere like B and Q (D.I.Y. shop for those non brits!) You can buy sheets of plastic. Lightweight but thick enough to stand up. Cut these to the size of the cage and prop behind the cage on the side its against a wall.
I have done this, all I have to do now is give the plastic a quick wipe when I clean out the cages!!

Wow Aimeelou!, That is most definately a huge Degu home, but unfortunately I don't have this available to me in our local pet stores in Wisconsin. I'll have to deal with my Ferret cage for now and my 3 girls are happy. Just have to vaccum up all the poop that flings out of their wheels onto my carpet every day. LOL That and Timothy Hay. Thanks for the pics!!!
Sincerely, Lita~ XO
