Hello
I'm new at this forum, so another big hello to every degi lovers here.
I have happy news, and I would like to tell that to all the world
I've bought two female degus about a month ago. And, soon after they came in my home, one of them starded to get bigger and bigger. And, I thought that she could be pregnant. And, in the morning, before job, I came in to the room where they are in one very big cage, i have something to see. Both of my girls were in their nest, just heads out and scremaing at me. And, when I took a look in their nest, there were three little babies
And, now i have the offsprings.
I had to remowe the whole family in one small cage, because there are pretty big wholes on the big one, around 2 cm. And, I don't want babies to come out through those wholes. And, the nest is at the top of the cage, about 1,5 meters above the groung, and i was affraid that babies could fall down.
I've removed and another female of mine, so she would not stay alone in cage, and I don't know how would she take the babies when I get tha family in big cage. I could see that the girls was not very happy when they were moved, but... I can't do anything about that. I've put a big paper box for the nest... but i'm affraid it wont take long... they already started biting it.
Well, that's it, I just wanted to share that with degu lovers. I will be back with new updates
