So snowball was moving hay this morning idk why maybe bed making, I’ve never seen her do this… ik this is a probably a silly question but do Degus make bed to pass away in?

No, they tend to move away from a nest area.
She could just be moving her nest or feeling a little cold.

My degus would always pick some hay strands for the nest. Like the hard or rather big ones they don't like to eat.
It kind of stopped once they realized I supply them with a rather important quantity of toilet paper... I'm just not sure how much they actually feel cold, because mine end up half out of the door (too much TP).

I've found that with The Hooligans Willow is the designated nest builder. She's the one who pulls the TP from the roll and gathers the hay. If the others try to help they get told off, lol!
