Our 6 year old female Chloe has having a milky white discharge from her right eye off and on for about 2 months now. Overall she seems fine but we’d love some input on what it might be flic.kr/p/2nF5rAs

This can be a sign of infection or irritation.
The other thing it could be related to is dental issues. If your degu has ingrowing molar roots, it can cause spontaneous discharge from the eye. If both sides are affected, it's possible that both eyes can water. I have a couple of lads with watery/gunky eyes due to this.
In both cases, only a vet can confirm. The first will be treated with some sort of eye drops or ointment. The second requires an x-ray, and may require ongoing Metacam to relieve discomfort. If your goos have had a long sleep, the eye may crust close. Just give it a wipe with a wet cotton bud to clear the dry stuff away, or at least soften it.

Agree with bouncy - a vet visit is in order. It could just be something as simple as dry eyes as a result of aging tear ducts but it should be checked just in case it is due to molar issues.
