Mine are pretty much staying in bed as well, and have definitely put their winter fur on. But with temperatures likely to dip to -3 tonight, I can't say I blame them.
They are coming out to eat and drink and I've put extra bedding in which is slowly making its way into their beds.

Same as usual, really! Spidey trots around in the wheel, heat pad chilling, and the foldback clips are getting a workout.

They're just weird. I had one evening last week where all three pairs were like rabbits with each other. Each one ended up walking around with a wet patch on their backsides, with sand stuck to it.

In November, I adopted two new girls - Florence and Lorraine. They are rescues. They were surrendered by their owners to a Quebec animal shelter in March. Both had overgrown incisors but Florence's bottom incisors were horrifically long as a result of broken upper incisors. (Not sure how to post a picture - but will add it to a dedicated thread I hope to create, when I have figured it out). A rescue in Hamilton, Ontario – Ladybird Animal Sanctuary - which takes in animals that are in dire circumstances – activated their volunteer drivers to share the 7+ hours drive to bring them to Hamilton. They received immediate care from the Spencer Creek hospital. It took three trimmings over the next 3 months to bring Florence to a state where she was doing well and could be adopted along with her sister. Thanks to deguconvert, who provided them with a glowing review of my fitness as a degu owner, along with that of another good friend of mine who rescues cats, and, as well, the testimony of all of the vets I deal with for all of my animals, I was approved to adopt them. My husband and I made the 5.5 hours drive to Hamilton and now they are home with us. All that to say - they are doing well but I will be taking them in to the vet to plan a regimen of dental care because Florence's bottom teeth are growing in on an angle, and the top teeth are growing oddly probably to accommodate this.
My boys are still separated. Jet likes getting petted by me - he demands it, several times a day. Jos is lonely on his own; I have tried to bring him back together with Jax with no luck. (I will be seeking the Forum's help with a plan on what to do next.) Jax loves it when I bring Nod over to say hello to him and she loves seeing him too (I bring her up to his cage and he talks to her through the bars), but yesterday and still today Nod is too miserable to want to make her daily trek with me to pay a visit to the others.
Nod is suffering (lung cancer). Will see how she is tomorrow - if worse, I will have to make the appointment to put her to sleep.

Hello Yasmin!!
So lovely to hear an update on all your goos! I'm truly sorry that Nod is not doing well. With her diagnosis, we know her time is limited, but I truly have hoped with you that she will have more time that it presently sounds. You know her so well, and you are so sensitive to the health and well being of your animals, I know you will make the right decisions for her at the right time.
I'm sorry the boys continue to be fiercely opposed to being together. Yes, we will chat things through and see what we can do to help you get them in a better and more welcoming frame of mind.
I'm sorry Florence is having such great difficulty with her incisors. That sounds very difficult for her. Do you notice her having trouble when she eats at all? How are they adapting to their new home and to you? I bet you are making great friends with them. I'm looking forward to the photos!
