Hello. As you may know, around 2months earlier i wrote in this forum and you guys helped me find out the cause about Maja’s teeth problems. Bad news…im back with them again, this time, not teeth. I am not entirely sure. i am currently out of my city, and will be back home at monday. my sister is taking care of Maja and other 7 degus. today she sent me pictures and told me Maja is breathing hard and is tired. I think that she may not have got any sleep cause their house is chewed down and probably Maja didnt sleep a lot of hours. She is eating critical care everyday, as much as she desires. She has eaten 5 times today. heres some photos, shes 5 yrs old, im very concerned. We are going out another week and we plan to take her together so we can feed her everyday. ibb.co/B2QNcxmibb.co/vvpgCp3ibb.co/wpbWjmpibb.co/S7tH4Yhshe also ate some salad and is really blaoting.. ibb.co/MGLNS74

OH COOKIEDEGUS!! She does not look good at all!! Do you have any . . . shoot I can't remember the name! All that comes to mind is Ovol . . . what I am thinking of are drops that help with gas build up. If she is fighing with gas in her belly, and she certainly is bloated, that makes it almost impossible for her to breathe.
How is she doing now?

Yeah, Ovol or other simethicone-based medicine (in very small dosage) needs to be administred ASAP. Her condition in those pictures is very bad just from the bloating. If this started around the same time her bloating started, her other issues might all be from that. That much bloating looks very dangerous and it would certainly paralyze her from the discomfort alone.
If her issues persist after that, something else is going on as well, but that is a very acute problem right now.

Yes, any drops you give to a baby before milk to stop trapped wind.
You need to get her to the vet as soon as possible. She's looking very unwell. I know she's very small and tame anyway, but she's listless. It could still be teeth, but it's very unclear. If you still have some cc, get your sister to feed some to her.
How's the weather/temperature at home?

Our temperatures are high, around 23-31 celcius. Degus are kept in a shadow, she wont get any more salad. Only food and cc.

I found some anti-gas drops they are called Antiflat 41,2 mg/ml, it has the ingridient you mentioned earlier, but i dont know if its safe for degus, we will try to arrange a vet visit as soon as possible. How many drops should i give and how many times per day? Theres another drops that are for kids younger than 6 years old. They do have a little bit of alchohol: 100 mg Chamomilla D6, 100 mg Cina D6, 100 mg Colocynthis D6, 100 mg Lac defloratum D6, 100 mg Magnesium chloratum D6. What im worried is this: (This medicine contains a small amount of ethanol (less than 100 mg per dose) ethanol (alcohol).) The first one is suitable for kids and infants too. Which one to buy?

Antiflat has simethicone in it, from what I was able to find, so get that. I'll have to see if I can find info on the dosage, but in any case it's small, like a small drop or so. How is she at the moment?

Okay, gonna buy that today since tomorow is a event day. Will keep updated regulary with photos! She's doing better, she's not bloating a lot, just a little bit. She is running happily, but still breathes differ from others. Currently laying in my sisters hand ☺️

If she's still bloated, the medicine should be pretty acute. As long as the cause has been removed, it should not require a long course. So you can give it as needed, and I would start with a smaller dosage unless she's very bloated still. Ovol, which has a lower amount of simethicone in it, is administred about 2-3 drops per time, so I would think that 1-2 drops of Antiflat is sufficient. Then observe how it affects her.
Essentially, all the medicine does is it breaks up gas bubbles in the intestine and, to put it bluntly, makes it easier for her to fart out her bloating. Gas can get trapped in the intestine, so this helps with that and thus reduces bloat. You don't need to keep giving it if it looks like she's no longer suffering from it. It's likely that the greens she got caused the gas, so long as she's not getting those any more, things should sort themselves out after the gas is handled.

Agree with Teemu, you take it like indigestion tablets and it works quickly, not something you need to take a course of and allow to build up.
If you think she still has some bloating I would give one or two drops and see if it helps and if it does perhaps repeat 8 hrs later. If she is no longer bloated but poo not totally back to normal I would offer Critical Care.
