Hi all, I noticed last night that one of our females has one of her lower incisors that is white while the other three are a nice bright orange as they should be. I went to the Degutopia web site and read the information posted there about this condition. Will the tooth turn orange again when the cause is corrected? Or will it always be white now regardless? She looks very healthy otherwise and shows no visible signs of injury, or wetness around her mouth. I'm not sure what else to look out for if it's not caused by trauma. Thanks in advance for any help, Keith

have the tooth checked to see if it's fractured. if it is, you may have to simply have the fractured piece removed and allow it to grow back. the only time a white tooth will turn orange again is if everything is still in tact and the degu is simply regaining health. if the other 4 are orange, that indicates a problem with the tooth itself.
