So one of my chinnies died on me. My oldest kid is so in love with one of her kits, I have to keep him. He carries him around all the time, and the chinnie hops op into his hands and just sits there. I can't sell him now. On the positive it sorts a problem I've had with space. We need to put a new cage into the kids bedroom. So we will put baby chinnie and dad in that cage, and I can move a female into the baby cage with the mum (not the dead one, but an other female, it's a bit conplicated), and give some of my males the larger cage they so desperately need. So that's super cool And we are back to having 10 chinchillas again -_-

I'm sorry for your loss. Glad things seem to have worked out positively in other ways.

I'm so sorry for the loss of another chin, Darth! I hope the kit was weaned at this point? And I am glad there are some solutions that will work for all of your 10 chins, and your eldest boy!

Kits weren't weaned. But the other female had 2 weeks younger kits, so it all worked out.
