I'm in the hard ware store. B&Q and they have pine stripwood. Is this safe for my doos? It will potentially get chewed

Any kind of kiln dried softwood is fine, just avoid any bits with lots of resiny knots, all the planed softwood is usually kiln dried, it's a lot cheaper than the pine stripwood.
