So we were fitting the new mesh in the vents and put Pickle and Pumba in the little metal holding cage, they were fine then suddenly FBOD and couldn’t separate them.
Managed to grab Pumba out. Both bleeding but surface wounds.
Put pickle in the Viv and then slowly put pumba in and they warble and kiss etc fine...
Come back just to do the room and they are fighting.. but slowly increases and and start FBODING rip the them apart with my hands... I’m fine..
Pumba is now in holding case.
I have no spare cages.
Alfie and paddy are in the two lazybones I have.
The rest are in vivs.
Do I try Pumba in with Pinky and Perky??? Pickle is extremely upset and it seems that Pumba is now challenging her for dominance as she dominated him.. now he’s trying to dominate her.

OK... I'm actually coming to Kidderminster tomorrow to take Boo to see Gavin... Something really isn't right with her eye.. I could bring the lazy bones cage? I know that doesn't help tonight though... Do you think the girls will accept him?

I know that doesn't help tonight though... Do you think the girls will accept him? Oh no! I hope Boo is okay. I am gonna try and set the playpen up to see if I can house him in that. I don’t know whether to try and intro him to pinky and perky now or whether to just let things cool down.

Let things cool down, don't try any other intros because you might start to jeopardise everyone involved. It is likely to be the new territory kicking them off.

Me too with Boo the eye is becoming bigger and bigger and she has started losing fur underneath it... Dunno what on earth is going on. I think the scent of the girls may antagonise Pickle more, plus would you be confident leaving him with them overnight even if things did initially seem OK? Let's hope it is just a little tiff, they may be feeling on edge with all the changes going on hence Pumba thought he would try his luck with top goo position.

They really do need time to cool their tempers. I would keep them separately until you have time to supervise a reintroduction. They could easily kick off when your backs turned and it could end up a lot more serious than surface wounds.
Edit: hope Boo is OK.

Yeah I’ve managed to set him up in a playpen.
I let the girls sniff him earlier and they warbled like crazy.
Don’t know what’s got into them. Mellowed in their old age LOL! Gives me hope I could maybe one day make a group of four.
He’s got a bed and water and hay and food.
Pickle is acting like someone’s cut her arm off.. looks very lost.
Crying to herself.. walking around slowly.
Deffo don’t want them split up forever.
They’ve all had a hazelnut of peace lol.
No serious wounds just lots of small surface ones.. poor mites.
Yeah I don’t want anyone in with anyone dodgy overnight. Worst nightmare.
d**n it!
I have enough to deal with trying to get Paddy and Alfie together. Paddy is a looney.
On the plus side with the heating on in the goo room over the last few days the wall has totally dried up and we’ve wiped it over and it’s all clean except for paint coming off where it had bubbled.
I think what kicked them off was Demon snuck in and sniffed Pickle. I don’t think Pickle likes demon. Then stuck in the carry case she’s kicked off.
My fault really. Demon screams at the door and it’s hideously loud. The other goos really like her so I didn’t see the issue.
Poppy and Kev warble at her 🤦🏼♀️ great natural prey animal instincts lol

He had escaped the playpen!!!
Hopefully he was going up and over it... we’ve shrink wrapped the top to make a big ledge so he can’t get over, like a prison fence, they curve inwards lol.
If he’s squeezing through the bars then he’s Houdini because he’s fat so I don’t know how he would.
Hopefully he’s still contained in the morning.
He can’t go anywhere if he does escape it just means no food or water.
But we found him trying to chew his way into Pickle 🤨💀

Hope he is found safe and well, was the playpen in the goo room? I bet he's had a right adventure overnight!

Emily, try not to panic over the whole situation. Take a step back to look at what's going on here.
You've taken a pair, and suddenly removed them from their home into something significantly smaller. On top of that, their temporary home smells of the last goo that was in there, so all their territory warning alarms are sounding at max. These factors alone mean they'll likely react to defend as soon as they see another goo, and ask questions later.
How long will they be in their temporary home? Can you help with temporary territory marking?
I hope you've found the great Houdini!

Thanks all yeah he wasn’t hard to find. bouncy yeah I didn’t really think it through. Thought they’d be fine in the metal carry case for the two minutes it took. I’m a bit confused re the temporary home thing? What do you mean? X

Hows it going now? Is misscatafer dropping the lazybones back today? Do you think they’ve calmed down?
The tricky thing now with the vivs is working out how they’re still going to be near each other in the interim. Could you have the lazybones jammed up to the Viv with the vivs door open a bit so they have an area they can meet n greet?

I thought Bouncy meant the temporary home of the travel cage (which presumably they have all been inside recently (?)), and the change in territory from whole Aventura to single viv with only base level. Any change in territory can cause fighting, but the temporary reduction in size is not going to help, and all the other goos and chins moving around too. It's a lot going on for them.

No they’ve all got their own carry case per pair. So no sharing spaces. They’ve all been incredibly happy and content in the vivs and have all been warbling and snuggling etc.. absolutely no aggression or issues. I’ve just had to leave to go to uni and Pumba had escaped. I tried to get him back in but it’s a two man job to catch him as he sits behind the vivs to get to pickle at the vent. I’ve had to leave him out otherwise I’d have missed my only train. Hopefully he doesn’t chew through to pickle. I’m not home till 8, so I’ve asked Cal to catch him ASAP when he gets home at 5:30. The room is completely safe (that was the whole intention of the vivs) it’s just if he chews into Pickle. I don’t get how he’s getting out of the playpen. We’ve shrink wrapped the sides and then the top has a huge ridge over so he can’t climb it. He’s obviously climbing somehow I just don’t get how.
