Ha didn't realise you were in Norway, sorry.
Have you tried Hannseman in Germany? They do a great range and shipping may be cheaper.

If you take a look at our feeding guide that I linked to above, we try to explain and give background and reasons for the diet recommendations that we make, it might make you feel more comfortable if you read that. It's worth checking Zooplus, they cover most of europe and definitely Hansemanns, they will probably quote you for postage if you email them, usually works out around £15 for a big order, but the products are really good value. deguworld.proboards.com/thread/19090/hansemanns-german-food-shop

I'll check out Hannsemans and find out how easy it'll be to order from there. One more question, what is a good quantity when it comes to feeding seeds and nuts? I'm not sure how often/how much I should be giving my boys. The list of seeds, nuts etc on this forum is great, so I just have to figure out a quantity. As mentioned earlier I do serve VL Nature and hay as a base right now and I'll get more foraging options soon. Thanks for all the help I'm getting. You guys are great

I feed about half a teaspoon of seeds per degu per day, but I know others differ.
Nuts should be an occasional treat, maybe once a month, and in the shell. But I have defective degus who have never yet managed to open more than a peanut shell so they get a small piece of hazelnut once a week as a treat. It is fun to watch them with nuts though and they do tend to resemble Scrat (the saber toothed squirrel) from the Ice Age movies, lol.

By seeds we mean a well proportioned seed mix (most of us use the one from ratrations). I think Hannsemans do one too.
I feed a teaspoon ish per pair of degus per day.
Nuts depends on the nut! Usually once a month though if we are talking a whole shelled one!

Thanks so much! half a teaspoon per degu per day, I'll keep that in mind. I was thinking of investing in a bunch of different seeds to make a mix, or find a good mix to buy from a store. If I make my own I'll use the seed chart on the forum as a guideline.
I really want to get some shelled nuts! I wanted to give them some yesterday, but I only had plain cashews in the house and gave them half one each. First time they've gotten nuts, ever. Both of them took their piece in their mouth, ran under my bed and hid it in a corner, probably saving it for later!

Both of mine do that, but then whenever you go near the cage Bumblebee goes and sits where he's hidden his. Not quite the best way of keeping the hiding place secret little one, lol.

Hansemann has an SAB seed mix and forage mix, as well as other yummy stuff and nuts in shells. If you want to place an order, just tell them what you want and your address. They'll get back to you with a quote. Only Austrians and Germans can set up an account.
Try your goos with sunflower or pumpkin seeds in shells. They can be a little slow to start with, but they get faster! Two of my lot will immediately take a nut in a shell from me and start working on it, because they don't trust their cagemate.

Wait till you give them a walnut. They are big so basil does a kind of running leap hop across the room with it. Best thing he's ever done I nearly suffocated laughing 😂😂😂

I've also got a great video of Squidgy. He loves pecans, but has problems fitting them in his mouth to carry. He chased it around the kitchen floor for 20 mins, before he stood over it, stamping his feet, squeaking and growling, demanding frustrated help!
