Lucky is still munching on the baby food rather than the nuggets so I was wondering if there were any particular seeds, nuts or grains etc that we could feed to keep her nutrition up. It needs to be easy to eat without using her hands and something we can hand feed her. She is eating a little forage so not too worried about her teeth or anything yet just that she can't be getting a balanced diet with just baby food.

So . . . you want chunky kinds of things, or things that you can crush and add to the baby food, hold on the tip of a finger . . . all of the above?

I put a little on this topic in the other thread. Anyway, I would try some Critical Care (or Recovery Plus), you can get it from the Hay Experts for a decent price. Any of the high calcium seeds, plus things like sesame, linseed, a few milk thistle or hemp. Dandelion root can be chopped into bite size pieces and likewise nuts. Even the versele laga herb crocks could be useful as a supplemented bridge back to nuggets, you can cut them into halves or quarters and they are softer than nuggets. I find flat peas useful for feeding Critical Care, mine will eat it readily from a piece of flat pea. Mine also like dried veg when they aren't well, I sprinkle it with calcium dust but you don't have to.
