Im currently searching for a female degu to home as a friend for my now lone girl Beryl. I'm in Cornwall and finding a friend is proving to be very hard. I don't really want to go down the pets at home route.

Hi Chele! There haven't been many adverts come up for degus looking for homes on here recently. Most of the adverts go up on a facebook group called "degu rehoming group uk". You can put a post up requesting what you're looking for in your area and how far you are willing to travel and somebody might know of some that are available.

I have to go to Plymouth this coming week, but won't have time to go into Cornwall (got to be in and out in a day). If chele1233 is prepared to come partway and meet me, I am happy to take Mint with me.

I don't think so. Perhaps your location is not good for them to retrieve. I sent them an email and they came on and looked, but if they didn't contact you, I assume there is something that doesn't work for them.

I sent a message too, suggesting a meeting place, but no response. I'm less than 20 miles from Newbury (just driven through!) and it's 181 miles to my stepfather just north of Plymouth, so I would be cutting out a massive amount of distance.
