What is wrong? What did your Degu get into or eat? More details would help us to help you.

WHY on earth was it in the cage? was it open for him to eat? You are not making a lot of sense.

if a degu cant have glue than can he have non-toxic glue? What makes you think a Degu can have any sort of glue?! Im sorry, but if you cant explain to us properly whats happened, we cant help you! Give us a little more info on what you mean and we will try our best to help

Hi, sorry if this seems a little harsh, but I feel that your comments towards 'Fuzzy' have been a bit hard and unfriendly. You have made it sound as if this member has given their Degu glue on purpose, do you really think that is the case? Some people have accused her/him of not making sense... could this be that because he/she is; young, in a panic or maybe English is not their first language[ I'd like to say they made a pretty good job of getting their point across if that is the case]. I have almost always found this site to be helpful and friendly, but is it any wonder that Fuzzy has not been back to see if any one has left any real advice! I shall now get off of my soapbox and wish Fuzzy the best of luck.

unfortunately, fuzzy didn't give us enough information to know the whole situation. some posts just seem to incredible to be true... when people post asking if their degus can have chocolate, coffee, nicotine, glue... you just have to wonder what happened to common sense? fuzzy wouldn't even tell us how the glue ended up in the degu's cage in the first place, which is pretty pertinent information if you ask me. if we sound harsh it's because we're also concerned for the degu's well-being.
in short, no one has left any "real advice" because we don't have enough information to give "real advice."

The mods on this site are not trying to be harsh, we just worry about the welfare of degus, thats why we run the site! I am slightly concerned that you feel this way, as we dont want to scare people off, but as Diet points out, caring for animals takes some common sense. I wonder about the validity of this post in that the post was created with much formatting. This takes time, and I dont know about anyone else, but I would want to get my message read as quick as possible! Also, fuzzy has not been back to the site since, which would support the mods in the worry that we cannot give proper advice without having all the facts first!

This post doesn't really make sense does it? Did the degu eat some glue or not?
