We will be holding our first live chat on the forum on Wednesday 1st March at 8pm (UK time) and everyone is invited!
When you log in on Wednesday night there will be a post under General Chat called "Live Chat - Wednesday 1st March" and it will be running for around an hour. As it's the first one we aren't planning a topic or making it formal, we want to see if it works for the forum, so feel free to bring your own nibbles and tipples!
The choice is yours if you nip on for a few minutes or you come along for the full hour
If it is a success it will hopefully become a regular occurrence and another way for our wonderful members to be a part of our little furry community.
See you there!
What is a live chat?! If you haven't have experienced a live chat before, its just a normal thread but it's used like a live chat room (everyone signs in at the same time and has a chat on the specific thread). It's a great way of getting the everyone together and all you need to remember is to keep refreshing so you can keep up with the chit-chat!
Personally I've been involved in a number of these on other forums, usually when my football team are playing away from home and I've not been able to go. One person usually "hosts" the chat, they listen to the match and provide commentary for all the other members. It was particularly used by global fans that couldn't listen to games and was a regular event each week.
Hooman to Pip (RIP), Daisy & Flo and slave to Esme and Arthur the cats. Up The Clarets!

Just wondering whether there are any "rules"? (I mean the simple ones like "quote the post you're referring to so that people can follow your conversation" - I've been in live chats where it quickly disintegrates into chaos because no one knows who anyone is replying to)
